This site aims for a supernatural spin on a slice-of-life city, complete with an academy and college to ensure everyone has a place here.
Events
the valentines dance is open to all. staff will post a starting thread and you can post an entry or make a thread of your own. the dance will take place near the beach. its all outdoors with the dance floor being in large pavilion.
for those that show up without a date. fret not. we have a little sign up sheet for blind dates.
if you don't want your character to participate in the blind date, don't worry they can still be part of the dance.
apart from the dance there will be food/drinks and of course access to the beach.

01/29 we have a new skin! a new species and are now accepting gradeschoolers incase anyone feels like making younger characters!
Zachary was glad for the laughter but the silence, not so much. The conversation switched over to where the car would be parked, "Well good, just means when your sorry ass gets stalked you know it wasn't me because I don't know where you live and you can be sure I'll g have an alibi. It was a silent drive because Zachary had stopped talking, knowing he might get himself into trouble if he dared to say it. Ezra parked the car in front of the house and Xachary just leaned against his seat and just sighed, now he had to drive his car into the garage because Ezra wasn't helping. He had even given him the keys to his car back. "I kind of need to drivers side to do that buddy..." Zachaey added, feeling slightly sick from the amount of alcohol he drank.
I'm not climbing over this seat just to get into the drivers spot... He felt tired, but he still unlocked the car so that the doors would open without any problem before he slowly got out of the car, leaving the wine bottles behind so that he wouldn't have to put them in the car the next time he drove to work. Zachary leaned against the car, using it to keep his balance as he moved around the front of the car, clinging to his car keys so that he didn't risk dropping them on the ground. He stood by the drivers seat, breathing in and out as he caught his breath before preparing to enter the car, with or without Ezra in it.
ezra rolled his eyes."i can take care of myself. don't worry about it."he said as he pulled up to zac's driveway. as promised he wasn't going to park in the garage. if he really wanted the car in the garage he could get someone else to do it.
with the car turned off he handed over the keys. he grabbed his food and dug out his cell from his pants pocket."at least wait till im out of the way."he said as he made his way towards the house steps. with his phone still out he began to dial for a taxi. he gave them the information. he shoved the phone back into his pocket and waited for his ride to arrive. in the meantime he watched as zac slowly made his way to the drivers seat."you're gonna crash your car."
Zachary got in the car, ignoring Ezra who warned him that he would crash his car. He locked the doors, watching them close as he started the engine to his car. He was about to step on the gas but changed his mind, driving drunk wasn't the brightest moves on his part. He pulled out his phone and called for his butler, who wasted no time in coming out to the garage to stand in front of the car in the driveway. Zachary unlocked the car, getting out before letting the butler get in with his keys. The doors closed, the engine started and his butler drove the car into the driveway. Getting back out he returned the keys to Zachary, "Is that all I can do for you sir?" He asked, completely ignoring Ezra before bowing and turning around, making his way back into the house. Zachary leaned against the side of his house, looking at Ezra as he waited for the taxi to come already. "I guess I should thank you for driving me home, so thanks." He answered, choosing to still keep his distance. He wasn't in a rush for Ezra to leave, had he noticed the same being the same as Hachiko's friend, he might have run into the house.
But, he was to drunk to remember. Leaning against the side of his house was boring, "How long did they say they'd be?" He asked, trying to make small talk to kill the boredom. He wasn't out here because Ezra needed him to be, it was just polite since Ezra was at his house. Pacing had crossed his mind, but he remained against the side of the house, not moving from his spot. He had some words that he wished to share with the kid, something along the lines of, well it was fun knowing you kid, hope we don't see each other around, since they'd clash, but he felt to drunk to focus. I should go in the house.... but his ride isn't here yet.... He was just so sleepy.
ezra couldn't help but smirk. it seemed like zac took his advice after all. he thought he'd seen the car move a bit before going back into park. he jumped out of the way as the butler seemed to come out of no where. how long had they been there watching the whole scene. he needed to go home and unwind. hachi was not going to believe this.
"yeah, whatever. you left me no choice."ezra said stubborn as usual. he was glad no one got hurt, zac included. he wasn't sure why he was giving the guy such a hard time. ezra liked to tease people."that's them right there."he said as he waited for the car to pull up."don't get hit."he said as the taxi came to a stop and ezra moved towards it."i'd say it's been fun, but i don't make it a habit to lie. so i won't."ezra said as he got into the taxi.
before the car moved away. ezra rolled down the window."i'll be sure to send you the bill for the taxi. thanks love."ezra said with a smile before casually blowing zac a kiss and rolling the window up once more. the car was make its way out of his drive way and towards ezra's residence. he really hoped he didn't bump into that guy again.
Zachary found himself to drunk to really notice anything anymore, but he hadn't missed Ezra getting into the car and blowing a kiss at him. "Yeah what ever..." He waved as if he could care less, turning to go back into his house through the garage as the taxi was leaving the driveway. He closed the garage and entered the house, making his way to the third floor before going into his bedroom and crashing on his bed. The next couple of hours were going to be long ones, he had some memory of being drunk and a name stuck. Ezra.... Where have I heard that name before? He shook it off, figuring it was the name that Hachiko had told him and not the name of the guy he had just met hours ago. He couldn't help but wonder what Hachiko was doing, hopefully they could take a tour around the island or maybe even one off the other islands. But first, he had to get over this hangover, planning on giving himself a day to get better before trying to make plans with Hachiko again. Unaware that Ezra, Hachiko's friend, was the guy he had just met.
