'Why am I doing this....? I shouldn't be doing this...I really, really shouldn't be doing this,' the thoughts of pure terror ransacked through Alise's mind as she shakily grabbed onto a branch. What was she doing? Climbing a tree. And that was something she definitely was not supposed to be doing. Aside from the fact that she barely managed to pass anything in Physical Education, there was a rule Usagimimi like herself followed - a golden rule at that. And what was it? Bunnies don't climb. They never have and they never will...and yet, here she was, climbing up a pretty large tree {then again, all trees were pretty big, especially to a small framed creature like herself} and feeling like the wind could blow her off of it at any second...given that she didn't fall first.
Did she mention how terrified she was?
Because she was pretty freaking terrified right now.
Several times she had nearly fallen and her terrified shrieks of when she had done so had attracted a few turned heads...but otherwise, everyone seemed to think she was just a teen doing teen things. Except, she wasn't just 'any' teen. She was a terrified teen. A terrified bunny girl who really shouldn't have been climbing this tree.
Of course, it was only natural to ask why she would put herself in such a predicament, given that this was Alise and...she was pretty smart as to avoid things that could possibly injure her. The answer?
"Meow?" Wide, light green eyes peered down at her.
....Yes. She was risking her life for a cat.Although, in he defense, it wasn't just any cat. It was her cat. A Sphynx cat named Luka to be exact...And to be honest, Luka's personality was about as great as his looks. Downright ugly. Okay, okay, he was a bit cute, but that didn't make his personality better. Honestly, Alise was certain the cat didn't even like her. But...she supposed she did like him. Somewhat And he'd been with her for quite some time now too. And yes, even though he clawed her or bit her ears or attacked her legs when she walked down the hallways well...he was her cat.
And he was stuck in a tree.
"I-I'm coming! Just don't move and - h-hey! Stop shaking the branch please! Your making leaves fall and it's hard to see! L-Luka!" Her voice rang out to the cat who shifted about on a branch a few levels higher than hers. She swore the devil of a cat wanted her to fall.
It wasn't in the bunny girl's nature to just leave him up there though, which was why she was still climbing this tree. Eventually, she made it to the branch he was on, and after clinging onto it and just trembling for a few moments, she scooched over to her cat, who almost seemed to roll his eyes at her. "T-there...I-I'm glad you're alright Luka," she let out a soft breath as she sat upwards, adjusting her glasses slightly as she sat with the branch settled between her legs, the cat in front of her.
"Mrowr." He replied with a twitch of his ear, staring at her dispassionately.
"O-okay...now just to get do-....." She trailed off as she stared down at the ground.
.....Now she saw how Luka had gotten stuck up here in the first place.
Alise said nothing as she just began to tremble violently and actually began to tear up a little. Forget about Luka being stuck up here, she was stuck....And for how long? Would anyone even notice her up here? W-would she be stuck up here until dark? B-but it would be cold! And she didn't do well in the cold! Plus Luka got really cranky when he was hungry...Oh heavens no, she couldn't do this!
Tears threatening to come down her cheeks as she began to feel sick to her stomach, her knuckles turned white from how hard she was gripping the branch. "S-someone please....s-s-someone..." She was so terrified she could barely get out the words. "P-please help!" She finally called out...although it was rather pathetic, given how soft her voice naturally was as well.
Luka seemed irritated by his owners lack of confidence even in a situation like this, and with a small hiss of annoyance, had suddenly gotten up, launching himself onto her. The branch rustled and she let out a shriek of pure terror, clutching onto the branch as though her life depended on it. The cat clung onto her now, his little muzzle opened and pulling on her sensitive, floppy rabbit ear. "L-Luka cut it out! Please stop that! Really - A-AH THE BRANCH LUKA STOP!" She let out another shriek of terror as the branch creaked and groaned from the moving as it rustled about. She could've sworn she saw her cat give a smirk of all things as he finally stopped pulling on her delicate ear. He only gave her an 'innocent' little 'mrowr' and head tilt from where he clung onto her.
....Why did she have to have such a devilish cat?
Why did she decide that he was worth her climbing this hellish tree?!
