annabelle marie-claire ji-hyun yi was born into this world as a kitsune. but life was no walk in the park. in fact, she went through a lot of stuff that essentially destroyed her self-esteem. it would take years before the girl had any form of confidence, which is completely and utterly shaky at best. however this does not make her any less of anything. no, in fact, annabelle is an incredibly talented girl who has been turned into a social outcast due to bullies from the young age of thirteen. 

sure, she has powers, supernatural powers at that, but it does not minimize what these bullies say. it ranges from something simple as 'you are an idiot' to 'god you are so ugly' to even worse. suffice to say she has heard over five years of the stuff and it has done damage. now you would think her parents would be aware, but no. nope, okay, let me rephrase that. they know that something is wrong and has been wrong, but precisely what is wrong they do not know. 

what they do know is something has changed within the recent years, for the better. as now annabelle is more happy and slowly coming out of her closed-off shell. perhaps now she will come to accept the person she is rather than the person she thinks she is. all of this is possible thanks to a friend, someone who decided that enough was enough.

though she is more confident and optimistic, it does not help that she is still ever so anxious and nervous as this friend is unaware. uncertain about whether or not to tell, annabelle is frightened. she knows she should tell, they are friends after all, but this attachment she has formed has made her fearful of loosing said person. not to mention, well, she sort just might like him. although god knows if she does, it just might be her mistaking friend-love for something else entirely. whatever the case is, annabelle has plenty on her mind despite life seeming to improve.

- annabelle loves to cook as well as bake, but especially bake. she is incredibly skilled as this requires minimal interaction with others. not to mention there are plenty of videos and shows on both.
- she loves to draw. more often than not she will be seen doodling whenever done with work or off in the corner in the library. however will she ever show you it? not likely, at least not until she knows you won't pick on her.
- she enjoys testing out recipes and if you happen to be a good friend of her's... well, guess what? you just became an unofficial testing dummy! i promise, she won't  ever poison you! just... maybe, make you a little hyper.
- annabelle loves books and often is seen in the library. it is not only because not too many people go in there, but also the mandatory silence. translation? no one can pick on her without getting in trouble.
- she enjoys photography, immensely, although she is not that skilled at it. however this does not mean she is not practicing. she definitely is, but it often is of animals and landscapes as well as the food she creates.
- annabelle sometime feels claustrophobic when her anxiety is triggered, despite how open the area might be. so when it does, well, i advise get away from her and help from a little bit away, because she  is the type to kick as well as claw if necessary. 
- she has never experienced romance. although this does not mean she is clueless, oh no, she just is a bit oblivious as she has only read and seen it.
- annabelle speaks, fluently, english, korean, and french. this is because she grew-up speaking all three languages, not surprising as her father was born in france while her mother was born in korea. not to mention one of her goals is to live in both korea and france one day as well as study their pastries and desserts. 
- she has an incredibly sensitive sense of smell and taste. making it not surprising that she is so skilled as a cook. but her sense of smell sometimes works against her as she cannot tolerate extreme scents, such as too much perfume/cologne or burnt food.
