Rayne had been born in Japan. And little was known to him that he actually had a identical twin brother. When he was being ready to be sent home there had been a mix up. Rayne had been given to the wrong family. He was given to a struggling single mother. The woman was a single mother who had been dealing with a drinking and drug problem. Thus how she ended up pregnant. When he had gotten a little older the neko had been neglected. His mother didn't take too good care of him. Not being fed too well, barely ever being bathed, everything. Going through school when he was around six years old the teachers were always asking him why he always looked so horrible. But he always kept his mouth shut. It was finally that his mother's sister Kyouko had been called to see the child. Who she instantly fell in love with. From then on Rayne had gotten very close with his aunt.

Who eventually taken in the child and got custody of him when he was seven. But as he became a teenager the neko had become a bit of a trouble maker. He had gone down a rather dark path. Causing fights, being a huge bully, causing problems for others. His aunt knew that it was because of everything his mother had done to him. Nearly being kicked out of his public school Kyouko thought that it was best that maybe he went to a boarding school. Being sent there Rayne was still causing trouble around the school. That was until one day. He had ended up in a fight with another student. Getting into a pretty bad fight Rayne had been sent down to the counselor's office. He had know idea that he'd walk in being in trouble and pissed off to come out with a date. The neko had eventually gotten rather close to the counselor. After their date Rayne for himself developing a rather big crush on the older man. Finding out he was a demon made no difference to the cat.

The demon had accepted Rayne for how he was. Spending more and more time with the man he soon fell madly in love with him. Soon after the two started dating. Even though their relationship was rather dangerous to Rayne it made no difference. After about a year when he was in his senior year of high school Damar surprised him by not only buying them both a house but he proposed to him as well. Happily accepting his lovers proposal once Rayne graduated they had been married. Being so happy in the peak of his life he thought the only thing that made it better is when him and Damar were traveling the world for a rather long honeymoon is when the couple decided to have a child. Which is when they welcomed their first child. Between Rayne and a surrogate mother their first son Riiku was born. Who the neko had fallen in love with and loved and spoiled his son to death.

After a year thinking Riiku was lonely is when the couple decided to have another child. This time it was Damar and a surrogate they had gotten when their second son Katsuya was born. They were born when they were still traveling the world but both boys grew up getting in their learning from being taught by their parents. Going around the world helped even more. Both their boys were in no means stupid. When the boys came to be teenagers and had to go into high school Rayne and Damar both agreed to go back to where they had first met and fallen in love which was Japan. Letting the boys go through high school once they graduated Katsuya had fallen in love with his counselor like he had with Damar. Once they were engaged and on their own Rayne noticed how it seemed to effect Riiku since he no longer had his brother. Feeling horrible he thought maybe his evil twin brother could help his son. Since he had the Likea blood in him and could clearly tell.

Letting Riiku go live with his brother but still seeing his kitten all the time Rayne was hoping it would help his kitten calm down a little bit. To to hear that his brother decided to have a child. Being rather shocked Rayne thought his brother was messing with him. But sure enough the next year he was introduced to his nephew Satoru Likea. As the years went by and the boy grew up soon after Rayne was shocked to know his son Riiku had finally found someone he had fallen in love with. Being so happy both his kittens finally had someone they loved and who made him happy. But having an empty nest Rayne talked to Damar decided to finally be on their own. Moving to France where Damar was originally from to enjoy time together. But eventually they talked about another child. Letting Damar have this one with Kat's mother from before this time they had a little girl. After a couple of years when Blair was four he was told that Kat and his husband were excepting a child of their own as well. His first grandchild being a little girl as well he was so happy. The little girl was named Claire and both him and his husband had fallen in love with her.

Being so happy Rayne thought that was enough children for now to enjoy his family Rayne couldn't be happier. But he had gotten the surprise once Blair was older and Claire was about five that Riiku and Satoru also decided to have a child. When his grandson Yuuma was born Rayne was just as happy as when Claire was born. But what he didn't like was hearing that Riiku and Satoru had a gang along with having their baby the neko did not approve one bit. Fearing for not just his son but his grandson. Being on pins and needles for years at first Rayne thought that his grandson would be ok. Until one day he got the worst phone call he could have gotten. Hearing Yuuma had been hurt and lost his leg Rayne finally had enough. Telling both Riiku and Satoru that it wasn't safe for his grandson. Demanding that he stay with him and Damar for a while so he'd be safe. He didn't want the boy to be killed.

Once Yuuma was with them Rayne felt so much better. Him and Damar helping the boy in recovering they even got him a prosthetic leg for him which they helped him get used to and use properly. He felt better having his grand kitten around him and Damar knowing he wouldn't get hurt anymore. But once Yuuma got to be a teenager and wanted to go back to his father's Rayne was very fearful of letting him go. Not only because he had gotten so close to the boy but he didn't want to hear he got hurt again or worse...he had been heart broken enough when he got the call Yuuma had been hurt. Eventually he tearfully let the boy go back home but always checked in with Riiku constantly. Being the worried mother he's always been. After a few years go bad and nothing bad happening Rayne was so happy.

But he got quite the surprise when they had been called and told Yuuma was now living in Hawaii. That not only did Yuuma have a lover but he now had three great grand babies! It was the happiest news he could have heard. Being so happy Rayne wanted nothing more then to meet his new babies in the family. Including his grandson's lover. Being very happy Damar had talked to him about moving the neko quickly agreed. Being more then happy to move to Hawaii to be close to all his babies. What was even better was they heard from Katsuya's husband Barrett that their granddaughter Claire was going to the same college Damar was going to be working at was even better! Rayne couldn't wait until they got to fly over to the Island so he could be with his family again.
