Colin is described as a very serious "clean freak" by those who know him as he always prefers his environment and himself especially, to always be spotlessly clean. He is very adverse to having either himself or his equipment soiled (more the lather) and he has been known to wipe down his very dirty hands during a hunt. However, he will hesitate to touch his target if he deems it necessary. Despite his very odd preoccupation with cleanliness however, Colin is not very approachable or friendly. He very rarely shows emotions, giving others very, very cold impressions to others.

His manner of speaking tends to be very blunt and to the point; his comments otherwise weird and he is above belittling those who irritate him. His sense of humor tends to be towards being very dark and not well made. All of this makes him very unsettling to many people especially strangers. In his pre-bounty hunting life, before he lived in the city however, Colin always refused to take orders from anyone ever. However, after he joined the team, he came to very greatly respecting his boss, whose orders he follows well because he sees it in Boss' vision for the team (which are still unknown to him).

He also places very great trust in his co-workers. However, Colin's very obedience is very strictly limited to individuals he knows and he has no problem showing open anger for their loyalty from anybody and may pull out his sword if needed especially if they come from outside the team. He can't always defend himself sometimes but he stays away from fights often especially when angered. Although he very rarely shows it however, Colin does have a very good sense of morality. One of his most defining characteristics is the great yet high value he places on his job.

While Colin shows loyalty for his co-workers however, he shows little to no mercy towards people who defame him or his friends. He is not particularly annoyed about it, as he knows from experience that no bounty hunter is perfect. Few will argue with his claims that only he can handle very difficult hunts because he has proven his ability to accomplish them even if he has a set time limit for it. Despite his very, very strict obedience to his boss, Colin operates rather very independently. Many of his various hunts are solo sometimes, accomplished with little to no direct cooperation from others due to him usually assigning them to other hunts in progress.

Although he is very well looked up to by many and he does not hesitate to give orders when necessary, he does not see himself as a leader in the way that his boss is. He does not seem to have much use for his boss in general and he mostly leaves the decisions up to his co-workers as much as he can. Colin is occasionally known to lose his very calming demeanor and is known to use threats to get others to listen to him even if they are fellow members of the team.

The Haven family & group are the most feared bounty hunters in the world due to their well thought out tactics. Colin grew up around bounty hunting his whole life. He and his older brother Bobby were the family's ace cards being spectral dragons. His young step-sister Mary is very skilled even if she is an adopted pink dragon. His family has cover jobs; parents are firefighters, older brother is a professional chef, younger step-sister is a well known actress and Colin is a famous DJ known as StormFury.
