he sat at one of the tables under the food tent. there were couples scattered throughout the event. he sighed and took another drink of water. he was waiting for the blind date thing to be announced. he wasn't exactly sure why he decided to join up. it was completely out of his element.

he couldn't remember the last time he dated. everything had been a blur once the band made it big. he had been so focused on his career, he really didn't give anything else a thought. he grimaced at his thoughts. he wasn't about to have a pity party in the middle of this place. he finished his water and stood up. he needed to stretch his legs and a walk would do him good.

he wondered if his friends were going to show up. how embarrassing. daiki was ready to play match maker. leon was doing this for fun. or at least that's what he was telling himself. as he walked towards the large pavilion that housed the dance floor. he had been cooped up in his hotel room the minute they had set foot on the island.

the music stopping abruptly caught his attention. his golden eyes focused on the woman in pink. it seemed like he showed up just in time. he waited for his name to be called. hopefully he didn't make an idiot of himself. once his partner had been singled out he made his way towards them. he pushed the black glasses back up on his nose."hello, i'm leon."he said managing a polite smile.
