MCGUINNESS, Ninian

When Ninian was born it was a hard time. There was no such thing as technology, cars, or anything of the sort. Ninian was born in the Celtic era. He was born in Ireland. A poor family that had nothing but had everything at the same time. Being born from pure blooded Water dragons. Their race was not what you'd call glories because they was nothing more then mere water and ice lizards to allot of the other races that hid among the humans. Back then if you was not a human you have to keep it to yourself or you would be excited by the armies. you would be beheaded and hung up as a reminder to why monsters had no place in the world. So for most of his childhood Ninian was nothing more then a poor peasant boy that had done anything to get to live another day. When the FINE came by, crossed paths or even sent their men to his small village Ninian would bow down to the higher superiors. which he really didn't have a problem with because he was raised to fear the higher ups. To know when to bow down and show his respect.

That is to say until he had turned thirteen. That dreaded day he heard news that his parents was to be killed for being monsters. When guards came rushing in, dragging them out Ninian started kicking and screaming. It was said the whole monster family was to be beheaded and killed. This had scared the poor child. His parents pleaded and begged saying he was no monster! That he was no dragon. that their son didn't have the eyes of a beast. That only true water dragons had blue eyes, Well his father had a purple eye but it had always been guden, while Ninian's eyes eas a purple shade. Saying that their was no way he could be a dragon, that they had taken him in as a newborn because they had killed his mother because they wanted a child. So naturally that would scar a child, that would make him question everything. Being thrown into a prison they boy had been put through several different torture methods to make him shift, to show his true form. But the child would never break. He refused to allow them to see what his form looked like. So eventually they tossed him out and he was an outcast.

Being thirteen at the time he had no where to go.. His village all called him a freak for having parents that would murder a human. That would murder his family for him. asking why he was so special, saying other monsters would come looking for him soon and they didn't want their village to be destroyed for the likes of him. Back in that time there wasn't much he could do to survive. He nearly died a few times from starving and not having anything to eat. So he was forced to kill anything that came in his path for a few years to stay alive even if he hated it. It was the only way for someone like him to survive and make it in this cruel world.

A few hundred years later Ninian found himself serving under a king and queen. Protecting and serving as a royal knight. He couldn't tell you how he end up here. He can't remember what in gods name made him want to serve under a king and queen and protect them but he did for many years. Always putting his life on the line for what he considered his lords and ladies. He never really cared what happen to him because he had lost everything in his life and he was becoming numb. He just wanted to protect people. He wanted to become that symbol of peace that would protect them around him, even if they couldn't care for him. He was always taught to help others. He was taught to never leave no one in need. So he done this for over fifty years till others caught onto him never really aging.

Over they next 2,000 years he had many, many jobs. He would work in castles as a guard, he would work as a baker and make food for everyone. he worked as a swordsmen, he worked on what you would now a days call a journalist. he would even on occasions worked delivering mail. But back in the days it wasn't as easy as it was today. He had to deliver them on feet, for many many years. He traveled far and wide just to deliver packages until he got it delivered and on occasions ran into trouble and almost died because of things getting in his way. He even occasionally would work as a inn keeper for a while. It wasn't until his late 2,000 years of age that Ninian had fallen in love for the first time. Sure in his past he had loved and made a home with someone. But he had never been in love because he knew he would just have to leave when they started aging and he didn't. When he was just a little over 2,000 he ran into a beautiful red, fire, dragon. She was allot younger then him but that wasn't nothing he wasn't used to.

For the next four centuries they two was madly in love and was just so happy. Ninian was actually enjoying his life. He didn't even think about how bad his past was because all he cared about was her. They had actually married long before and he thought that nothing could ever go wrong. which was his first mistake. Before he knew it they had started fighting bad. They never got along and end up separating. So this affected him and he become cold and distant to others again. He didn't care about anything. He even got a job in the police department again. which to him was just like working under the royal because they held the authority around this day and age. Before he knew it he had become a detective and was actually enjoying his career for once. It was only then, after a bad and i mean bad investigation that he just needed time to cool off. To stop, relax and not think about how sick life was even now in this day and time!

Regrettably the Dragon had went to a bar and end up hooking up with this overly gorgeous woman that was coming onto him. By this time he had already adapted to how the women and the men acted so he knew how to flirt back and play along. The next thing he knew it was nine months later. He was thrown a DNA test at him. He couldn't for the life of him think why until a few days later when a social worker had shown up at his place saying that the mother had signed all her rights over to him and that if he didn't want the child then they would give him up to foster homes. Looking at them in shocked he asked them if they was messing with him. When their partner had walked up to his home carrying the child. It was that moment that Ninian had swore that he fell in love all over again.

After naming the child, signing papers he spend the next five years just taking care of his child, spoiling him and raising him like he was when his parents had still been around. he enrolled him in pre-school then grade school. there wasn't a single thing the child wanted that he wouldn't get for him. After all he had many, many things hoarded and hidden all over the states from when he was younger. So if he ever needed money he would take a visit to a hiding spot and sell things from his time. It was a good thing that dragons hoarded things, it end up helping him along the way. When Suibhne turned ten Ninian had moved to hawaii and made a home there. Making several of friends he had some pick his precious baby up if he ever had to work late. With Suibhne twelve now and almost turning thirteen, Ninian had decided to tell his station that he needed less hours because he needed time with his son. Which, being there as long as he had been they had no problem with this. Figuring he'd pick back up when his son started high school so they happily obliged to his request.

Suibhne is the most important thing to Ninian.
