Amaia was born and raised in a small village in the Gifu Prefecture of Japan known as Shirakawa. Both her parents were pure blood Demons that heavily followed their family traditions. Amaia lived as any normal demon child would in the village, going unnoticed as a different species and learning to live among humans. She was home schooled by her parents and learned various methods of deceit that her family valued in order to create deals with the humans. On her free time, Amaia practiced her musical talent using various instruments such as; Koto, Kugo, Kokyo, Piano, Violin, and Flute. She also uses the time to learn other languages she is not familiar with.

When she reached the age of maturity for Female Demons, Amaia had to perform the gruelling ritual that all child demons in her family must accomplish. It was an unfortunate task but she grew up knowing that it had to be done and that her parents would support her through it. It was on the day of her birthday where she had to viciously sacrifice her parent's lives in order to gain her full potential. Once the ritual had been completed she was off to live her remaining days as a lonely demon. It was never made clear whether or not she NEEDED to have any offspring since the life of a Demon was immortal. It was more focused on IF she were to have any children then they too must perform the ritual. She wasn't quite sure how to feel about her families tradition and overall values.

Wanting to become more sociable and interactive in her community, she decided to join the middle school in her village (Which was the entire education system since the village was so small) and learn first hand what it was like to interact with humans. During her time there, Amaia was able to make a Faustian contract with one of the high school students in the school. It was agreed that Amaia would look over the boy's family, preventing any of the members to die from external causes. He explained how his family was incredibly poor and his father would resort to desperate measures in order to keep their family in a home with food. He made a troubling deal with money sharks and was in terrible debt. The group was planning to murder his entire family since his father could not repay the debt he was in. Amaia agreed to the circumstances (rather she encouraged it) and protected the family from death by permanently eliminating the group. Amaia continued to follow the boy around, his paranoia never died down and he became more cautious with his surroundings. Over the many years she spent connected to him, Amaia slowly started to develop feelings for the boy. She knew her family forbid any romantic relationship between a demon and human, but she couldn't contain her feelings.



Once the boy grew up into a man his family finally lived their lives in stability and security. The man wanted to move from Japan and live in Hawaii in order to pursue his business career in another country. Amaia and him then resided in Kinau O'ahu where he would excel in his career as a businessman. Once middle-aged, the man confessed to Amaia about his feelings for her, saying how he had always felt something towards her but was incredibly scared to admit it considering how she is a demon. Amaia returned the feelings and the couple began to live a more blissful life.

They never ended up having children since the man was sterile and they preferred each other's company rather than the responsibility of having a kid. Once he became too old for human life, he died naturally. It was devastating to Amaia but she knew that this would be a common occurrence throughout her immortality. She continued living in Kinau, trying to find others to create contracts with as it was her duty as a demon. It was a redundant task, the same sort of story over and over again. Although the lives of the victims were quite entertaining, she couldn't help but feel depressed from living every day the same as the last. She had taken many souls from many humans, the only significant one from her first and only love.

One day, Amaia hopes to find someone she can love like before. It was a small part of her life, but it was the best. It was odd to find someone so quickly that she fell in love with, given her obsession with torturing humans, so having found someone to make her feel the way she did... It was bliss. She's grown to become more ruthless and tactful in her methods. Her personality altering to a more callous image of her original state. As more of an adult demon, she believes that her first love was the result of her teenage immaturity and innocence. Amaia keeps a special place for him but she is not as easily emotionally vulnerable as before. She prefers to find fun in toying with others rather than trying to find the love she once had.

Currently, Amaia poses as a high school student and searches for new victims to form a contract with. She's matured and become more self-aware. Her way for income comes from her family savings, having it so she does not have to work among the mortals. She's modest with the money, living in a small home and only buying bare minimum supplies. She's become more socially involved and uses her high school life as a means of entertainment. Amaia pretends that her life in school is like a drama TV show she used to watch while connected to her first love. Her whole life in Hawaii is like a game for her, only there to provide her with some form of amusement. What's her true goal in life as a demon? She hopes to find that out one day.
