Keir is the oldest of the two Phoenix twins. At a rather young age he had been rather emotionally closed and somewhat unstable. Having fits of outbursts and tantrums, sometimes fits of rage. Growing up he always acted pretty closed off and cold to pretty much his whole family. Never wanting to see close to them unless he finally needed someone to talk to. His father always being worried he had either a split personality, a personality disorder, or maybe even schizophrenia like his 'mother.' He Keir was always very anti-social. His father noticing even when he was young that the boy had anxiety around people and just really felt uncomfortable around people outside of the family. With his father being rather close to the family they lived next to, to him he felt like it was even worse. Because of these issues with him Keir and his younger twin sister never truly were very close or saw eye to eye. Because after a while Keir didn't really want to have any to do with people and could be better off without them.

Noticing his sister had turned into a daddy's girl he was fine with that. He didn't want to be close to anyone. But it seemed that's all his parents wanted. Trying to get him to open up to the three kids they were always around when he was growing up. For the longest time the boy really wanted nothing to do with any of them. He knew they were the children of one of his father's closest friends but that didn't mean a thing to him. Although, after a while Keir found himself getting a little close to their daughter. But tried his best not to get too friendly with her because he truly didn't like or trust anyone around him. As he had gotten even older the boy started getting into some rather dark interests. Always loving blood and gore, horror movies. Always being rather curious about some pretty dark things. Which only concerned his father even more. Seeing the boy come home covered in blood and getting no answers from him always made him nervous. But he loved the things he did and never said anything to anyone.

Thinking the boy needed help he talked to his mother and tried to find out what was truly wrong. Pretty much being a sociopath and having a personality disorder. His father noticed the only person who Keir seemed to actually act like a decent person around besides them every once in a while was his friends daughter. Never questioning his son about it so he wouldn't set him off. His father never wanted to put his son on medication until one day he had to go and pick up his son from school because he had seen suspended from school and nearly expelled from being provoked by another student and nearly killing them. Bringing a blade with him to school he pulled it out once he was set out. Thinking his son needed a different environment even for his sister their parents sent them to the academy. Hoping that it would help Keir keep himself under control.

His violent fits can be trigger out of the blue without his control if not taking his meds
