Basile Melikov is an awkward little werewolf. Always a bit of a daydreamer, he is imaginative & creative by nature. At his best he can preform on stage as the confident, proud young man he is.

But get him in front of someone without a script, without props, without the aid of "pretending" and watch the boy flounder. At his core, Basile Melikov is an introverted ambitious nervous nerdy teen.

The middle child, the attention-hungry monster of a brother, the 'what is personal space?' "wrestler"- that's Basile. At times whiny, often the procrastinator, manipulative, moody, and occasionally aggressive- this little unrelenting, unrealistic idealist has a mind of his own.

Basile Melikov didn't need to claim he was different from his siblings: he was. The only child born to Octavian, Basile inherited werewolf genes, and the temperamental nature to go with it.

From a young age Basile loved to pretend. From the time he could talk he'd ramble off stories, gesturing wildly with his hands, his eyes bright with enthusiasm. For the most part they didn't make sense, but that didn't stop Bas. When Basile was young he used to cry if his parents wouldn't hold him and listen to his latest "story".

As Basile grew older his incessant storytelling didn't stop. Instead he recruited his siblings to help him tell it. Puppet shows, epic sagas using every toy they owned, hours of running around, pretending to be people they weren't: Basile thrived on it, but he enjoyed nothing more than putting on a proper play for whoever would watch.

Now seventeen, Basile's grown out of telling his stories to his parents, playing pretend, and recruiting his siblings, but he has remained active in theater his entire life. He jokingly will tell you he lives in the school theater, but it isn't that far from the truth. The only thing he seems to devote any other time to is his older brother, Augustine, who Basile idolizes completely.
