This site aims for a supernatural spin on a slice-of-life city, complete with an academy and college to ensure everyone has a place here.

She was tired - horribly tired. The Usagimimi girl had been up late liast night both doing homework and studying...Plus dealing with whomever had came into the shop. She thought burning some herbal mixture she read about would help in relieving in her stress but...yeah, no. It resulted in the poor rabbit girl having a sneezing fit and feeling as though she was choking. After spending a hour trying to get the foul smell out of her room, she partially crashed into a heap on the floor and fell asleep. Waking up to a piece of paper {her homework} attached to her face and her alarm blaring in her sensitive ears wasn't exactly the best way to wake up. Hence the tired, lightly baggy eyed rabbit girl seen trudging through the hallways.
What made it even better?
That piece of paper attached to her face had been her homework...and she had thrown it away. The fact that she wouldn't have her homework to turn in sent pure terror through her. Hopefully...hopefully she wouldn't get in too much trouble...would she? One thought led to the next, and soon enough, the rabbit eared girl had somehow ended up thinking about how her career was now in jeopardy and how everyone on the whole island of Hawaii would think of her as a 'no good bunny' because she didn't turn in her work. She...she didn't want to end up like that! She was much too soft to end up like that!
Alise hugged her numerous books closer to her chest, the glasses wearing girl giving a few sniffles as her floppy rabbit ears seemed to droop even more. "I-I'm a good student...It'll be fine...I-I can just explain to the teacher that I accidentally threw it away...Agh, that sounds so stupid, who would even believe that?!" She partially wailed to herself, her little frame trembling. She couldn't tolerate even imagining her teacher's face of disappointment - how was she supposed to face them without becoming a crying mess?
Too consumed in her thoughts, the silvery haired girl walked at a semi-fast pace {she never liked lingering in the hallways too much} to class. It only took a single misstep for her to wind up tripping over her own feet in a...slightly pathetic display and go falling face first into someone's back. Given how light she was, she doubted she did too much damage to them. But to her?
It sent Alise flat onto her rear end, the four slightly hefty textbooks she had been holding falling onto the ground as were her black framed glasses. "O-ow..." She complained softly, gently rubbing her forehead from where it had came in contact with the other person, a red mark visible past her bangs. She had always been a frail one.
Pure embarrassment went through her as she immediately bowed her head, body already giving a few small trembles. "I-I'm so sorry," she cried out softly.
Reach out your hands Don't turn your back Don't walk away How in the world Can I wish for this? Never to be torn apart Close to you 'Til the last beat Of my heart
Lily would be the person the small sliver haired girl bumped into. She would turn and give a small smile at her that would quickly fade when she seen her books everywhere. "Oh my"She would say softly and quickly lean down helping her pick up some of the books giving a small friendly smile the whole time. When she heard her say sorry her ears and long tail would twitch just a little bit. "Oh its fine! I'm sure you didn't mean to bump into me dear." She would speak in an almost teasingly tone handing her a couple of the text books back that she picked up. It would be at this moment Lily would notice the red mark on her head."Oh did you hurt your self?" She would ask stepping slightly close to the girl her tail flicking back and fourth gently as she gave a small concerned look.
'I'm going to to get yelled at...I'm definitely going to get yelled out. Why do I have to be so clumsy?! Maybe if I don't look at them it won't be so bad but...' Alise was terrified. She hated making mistakes and blunders like this...But more importantly, she hated making mistakes and blunders like this in front of others. The stares, the laughs, the pointed fingers...It reminded her all too much of when she somehow got pushed into the trash can during lunch back in middle school when she lived back in the states. Washing the milk out of her hair had been horrible...
Without even noticing, the female had began to gently tremble, eyes still trained on the ground as she waited for any harsh words or laughing voices to come. And yet...neither did. Her loppy, white and black bunny ears twitched slightly when a kind voice greeted her instead. The blue eyed girl looked up now and towards her 'victim' - a kitsune girl. "I-I'm very sorry - r-really, really sorry! I uhm...I -" Her sentence, which was probably another apology, trailed off when she saw the kitsune bend and pick up some of her books. "P-please don't - It's fine, I can..." Once again, he voice trailed off as she gently bit her lip. It wasn't the other girl's fault for any of this - she shouldn't have picked up her books!
Alise let out a soft breath, trying to calm her nerves some. There was no need for her to be this frightened or timid...everything was fine. Everything was fi - why was this girl coming closer to her? In her moment of trying to calm herself down, she had halfway missed the kitsune's words. 'Oh gosh she's trying to attack me! I KNEW IT! I knew she was actually angry at me! Maybe if I apologize again she'll - wait...what?' As if the words suddenly echoed in her mind, Alise realized the kitsune didn't want to strangle her - she was just trying to see if she was alright.
A slightly guilty feeling came through her, considering she had been looking at the other girl as though she was a murderer. Once again, a soft, "I'm sorry," left her lips.
"O-oh, this!" Alise pointed to the slightly reddish mark on her forehead. "I-It's fine! I uhm...uhm I get a lot of these! Not saying that I run into people a lot! I'm just...uhm...clumsy! Yes, clumsy! And I hurt myself a lot - not on purpose! Just...because...I'm clumsy...right..." Her frantic explanation trailed off as she groaned, letting out a soft sigh. "....Yes...I'm fine.."
Getting to her feet, she brushed herself off, pausing. Gaze looking everywhere else but the other student who was in front of her, she let out a soft breath. "U-uhm...d-do you know where my glasses went..?"
Reach out your hands Don't turn your back Don't walk away How in the world Can I wish for this? Never to be torn apart Close to you 'Til the last beat Of my heart
Lily coundnt help but giggle at the girl softly she was acting just way to adorable and shy. after a couple moment she would give a light smile. " Hmm well I don't know but I can help you find them." her tail would twitch happily as she spoke her eyes glancing about trying to find the missing pair of glasses it would only take a moment for her to spot and grab them. Handing them over lightly she would smile. "here you go! oh may I ask your name?" She would give a full light smile looking over the girl just a little bit her thoughts going slightly lewd. "hmmm I wonder if she squirms much~" She would think to her self evilly as her ears perked up a little bit more.
"T-thanks..." Alise mumbled out softly as the other girl found her glasses. She hesitantly reached forward, grasping her glasses. She delicately placed them on her face, letting out a soft breath as the world seemed to grow a bit clearer. "My..name?" She echoed softly, frowning slightly, as she played with her fingers. She wanted to ask 'why' or just mutter out her name and disappear into the crowd. But...this could be her opportunity for her as well! This girl seemed nice so...perhaps...
Realizing she had been silent for quite some time as she simply stared blankly at the kitsune girl, Alise twitched, blushing deeply as she muttered out another apology for her bad manners. "Er....I-I'm Alise...A-Alise Valestine," she softly introduced herself. Did she...did she do it right? Was she too formal? The girl twitched about, gently fiddling with her fingers.

Reach out your hands Don't turn your back Don't walk away How in the world Can I wish for this? Never to be torn apart Close to you 'Til the last beat Of my heart
Lily would give a calm and happy smile at the white haired girl."Such a cute name~" Lily would tease with a happy smile clapping her hands together a little bit hear ears twitching the motion. "My name is Lily it's nice to meet you~"Her smile would grow just a little bit larger before she would speak again. "Mind if I ask what year your in?"Her tail would flick just a little bit she would lean most of her weight on her left leg giving her a slight slanted postor as she asked the question waiting in anticipation in hopes she was in or around the same year as herself."This girls stuttering and shyness is just to much~"She would think to her self waiting for her answer.
"M-m-my name? You.....think its...cute?" Alise hesitantly" asked in pure shocked. For a moment, her head tilted upwards to actually stare at the girl - Lily - in pure shock...And then, cutely enough, her face turned a bright cherry red as she pressed her books closer to face, huddling them gently. "I-I...uhm...thanks...?" She was unsure what to say without getting completely tongue tied. And yet, she couldn't help but smile. Maybe this girl was nicer than she thought and not a scary fox lady who wanted to eat her?
....She really needed to stop reading those 'lore' stories.
"Lily..." She muttered softly before nodding, committing it to her memory."I...like lily flowers...they're pretty," she offered the other girl in a soft, hesitant voice before pausing. Did...she just call Lily pretty then?
.... "I-I DIDN'T MEAN IT LIKE THAT!" She quickly cried out, face growing darker as she tried to explain herself. But wait..."N-not that you're not pretty I just - I....uhm..." She trailed off, biting her lip. Why did she always had to trip over her own words like this? She let out a soft breath. Perhaps unable to talk from her previous blunder, or just too embarrassed to, she held up '3' on her fingers, showing that she was a junior.
A little bit of love is all I need to get through the day~"
After seeing the white haired girl blush that light pink and lift her fingers Lily couldn't help her self at this point this girl was just to adorable. She would step forward quickly and give her a tight hug. ""Your just to cute!" She would yell a happy smile on her face as she kept her squeezed close moving side to side a little bit rubbing up against her for a bit more effect. her tail wrapping around them just a little bit. "Oh my gosh she is so soft to~ this girl is just to much!"She would think to her self with a massive grin growing on her face clearly enjoying her self far more then she possibly should from just hugging an overly adorable girl like this.
Fiddling with her fingers with her face covered in a pinkish blush, Alise had no idea what to do. She was lost for words....quite literally. And what did that mean? That she had only one choice - to run. Now, while she wasn't very confident in any of her other physical abilities, running {specially running away} was something she was good at. And so, her blue colored gaze darted all over the place - viola! A perfect escape route. She was about to politely and hurriedly excuse herself until she saw Lily step forward.
"W-wait, n-no-!" Her 'plea' of some kind trailed off into a yelp when she was suddenly hugged in a rather close and tight fashion. Lily was very...warm. And she could've sworn she felt something warm curling around her. Honestly, Alise nearly fainted. Twice.
Once from the sheer overwhelming fear of Lily getting so close. And then from the fact that Lily was indeed this close and hugging her.
Her face grew even darker as she tried to hide it, but, had no avail. It was almost a bit funny, given she definitely wasn't hugging Lily back and was instead standing there like a trembling pole. Was she supposed to hug back?
"L-Lily, p-please! T-this isn't very nice!" Okay, that was a sort of lie. Hugs were very nice, and maybe...just maybe a little part of her enjoyed the slight affection the kitsune girl was giving her. But every other part of her body was screaming to get away and hide.
Perhaps overwhelmed at the moment, Alise suddenly sniffled. "L-Lily," she weakly called out again, although her eyes were notably more teary, her floppy, soft bunny ears pressed back slightly.

A little bit of love is all I need to get through the day~"
Lily was enjoying her self in the moment a bit to much so it would take her a couple moments to notice and a small concerned look at the adorable bunny girl before letting go rather quickly at her protests and sad look. "Eep! I'm so so sorry! I didn't mean to upset you!"Lily would speak loudly as she stepped away from the girl feeling the ping of guilt hit her as she looked at the girl. Even with her ears down completely like this she was still adorable more so now. Lily's own ears would shift down now to. To match the sad look the small bunny girl was doing her tail would move and wrap around her self just a little bit as if to give lily a hug."Please don't cry! I'm so so so sorry! I um....." She would trail off trying to find what to say to the girl to make her feel better or something.
When she was finally released, Alise let out a soft breath of relief, her rapidly beating heart trying to calm itself down. She gave a few sniffles, going to wipe her eyes only to pause at Lily's own sad look. "O-oh, no, I uhm-!" She was otherwise unsure on what to do in this matter. The fact that Lily look so saddened made her feel guilty. And Alise hated feeling guilty. It didn't help that the bunny girl was very sensitive to emotions as well. So, honestly, seeing Lily look so down made her want to tear up again. "I-It's okay! Uhm, cheer up!...Please?" She offered, wiping at her eyes a bit more before flashing a quivering smile. "Smile?" She brought her fingertips to the corner of her lips, gently pointing the corner of her lips upwards into a smile, as if trying to show Lily how to do it. "L-Like this!" It was something she often did to the other children when they were sad back at the orphanage....maybe it would work here?

A little bit of love is all I need to get through the day~"
Lily just couldn't help her self but to giggle a little bit at the bunny girls attempts to get her to smile giving a big smile her self her ears would perk up happily. She would shift just a little bit moving her hands on her hips. "Your just to adorable!"She would squeel again but this time she would not go in for hug just give a overly happy smile before clapping her hands together. "I know! We should do something together some time~"Lily would tease lightly though she was dead serous she wanted to hang out with this adorable girl more and see her not so shy. She wondered to her self if might this girl was more out going to people she knew or if she was just this adorable awkward to everyone she knew ether way she had to find out for her self.
"M-me? A-adorable? I...don't think so," Alise's face turned bright red once again as she attempted to hide behind her books that wee clutched closely to her. However, a small smile curled at the ends of her lips. Even though her shyness, she was at least relieved that Lily didn't seem upset again...She wasn't sure if she could handle that or anyone being upset because of her of all things! Honestly, she was almost about to just let the other girl give her a hug or maybe pet her ears or something if it meant she would smile.
Lily's next set of words were what brought Alise out of her thoughts as she nearly choked on her own breath. "E-Excuse me?" She trailed off. Wait, wait, what? Lily...wanted to hang out with her? With...her? Alise was torn between feeling utterly terrified and unsure what to say or feeling overjoyed. She...didn't have many friends, in all honesty. the thought of someone wanting to hang out with her of all people was....well, foreign. But, it did cause a warm feeling to suddenly rise through her as a soft, delicate smile was briefly placed on the girls lips. For the first time since she had met Lily, Alise fully looked up at the kitsune, their eyes very briefly meeting.
However, Alise's smile suddenly dropped as she looked down, biting her lip. "I...don't understand," she spoke quietly, "why?" She sounded confused. It made no sense as to why someone wanted to hang out with her. She wasn't...interesting. She wasn't sure if she was all that fun. She wasn't very popular and...well...It just didn't make sense to her. "Y-you're not trying to play a trick on me or something..r-right?" The rabbit girl suddenly asked, flinching slightly as her ears pressed back. "That's...not very nice..."

A little bit of love is all I need to get through the day~"
After hearing the little girl stammer as she did lily would give a slightly pouty look. "Why would I try to trick you!"She would say in a loud voice not to sound mean but to sound just a little bit shocked. Lily would then take a single step closer to the girl in put out her pinky in a childish manner. "I pinky promise I just want to hang out with you!...You seem shy and the type to not do much with others so I want to do stuff with you okay? No tricks at all!"She would give a childish smile at the rabbit girl as she held out her pinky hoping she would do the promise even with how childish it really was she didn't care she just wanted to make the girl happy and accept.
