“You’ll be in New York- there is no might, there is only yes. It’s the city that never sleeps! Think of all the people you can meet. Tourists and entertainers in the metro, businessmen on the sidewalk…” How could anyone resist the promise of that? Basile would give anything to live there. Why Yuuma and Tavi picked Hawaii of all places, he’d never truly understand. This sleepy old tourist trap felt like a dead end, a retirement destination. And perhaps for Tavi and Yuuma who’d gotten to live elsewhere as teenagers, settling down now was a good idea. But Basile wanted nothing more than to leave, to see the world and make a name for himself. [break][break] “Yeah- my dad went into the family business, too,” Basile observed. He’d never had to make that choice, but Yuuma’s decision had come up more than once in their household. [break][break] “So… Do you want to run a business? Even if he gets better. What would you rather do, if you didn’t have to run it for him?” Basile quizzed curiously, not seeming to think it was too personal to ask. With the ball failing to go into the hoop, Bas chased after it again, gleefully dribbling it. Maybe Zac was tired, but Basile was his typical energetic self, ready to continue the game all night if they could have. [break][break] “Getting sleepy, old man?” Basile taunted, noticing that he seemed a little less aggressive, a little less alert than he had when the game started. Maybe it was the heavy subject they were discussing- if it was, Basile wanted him to snap out of it. [break][break] "You can admit defeat right now~" Basile suggested.
Zachary shrugged his shoulders, "I like traveling but I am terrible at meeting people. I can't bring myself to agree, the risk of taking a chance for fun isn't my thing. The only risk taking I've done is through my company." He confessed, feeling slightly embarrassed. Having traveled out of state for school and business meetings, he found himself liking Hawaii the best. Perhaps it was the beaches or the fact that he was a family man. "Going into the family business was good for me though, it may not seem like it but I enjoy this job." He confessed, feeling no shame.
Basile asked him a question and Zachary nodded his head. "As of currently, yes. Had you asked me when I was younger, I would have said I'm unsure. Since growing I've come to like it though. The only hardship I go through is reminding my father I'm good enough in running his company." He wanted to explain that comment further but he had only just met Basile, he couldn't bring himself to confess his problems in front of him. "A couple of years ago, things got harder for me. My brother sees me as me but my parents are still going through a hard time." He finished, figuring he could tell Basile another time, if werewolves were brought up.
He grinned when Basile asked if he was getting sleepy. "Normally I have more energy but with my lack of sleep." He laughed at himself, "I'm getting tired, I'm afriad." He paused before adding, "What time is your rehearsals?" It was his way of admitting he was done. He asked because he was interested in lingering if Basile wanted him around.

“You? Terrible at meeting people? You seem friendly enough. You didn’t let a little werewolf growl scare you off,” Basile joked, not feeling the least bit ashamed or cautious about revealing his species. And why should he? In a town like this, supernatural creatures walked around like everyone else. Besides, Tavian had told him to never be ashamed of himself- he’d went through a phase where he’d felt singled out as the only werewolf with two demon siblings. [break][break] "Besides. Working in business- don't you have to talk to a lot of different people all the time?" Basile asked, imagining Zach making phone calls all day, or visiting new exotic places just to go in some drab grey building once he got there, dressed in a stuffy suit. [break][break] “What’s your favorite part of your job? I mean, you’ve got long hours, you’ve got to meet people here, and you’ve got no fun. What could you possibly like?” Basile asked, actually truly curious about what aspects of the job could redeem it. Basile definitely didn’t think he’d come to terms with a career like Zach had. [break][break] Of course he was getting tired. Basile grinned, feeling victorious as he pulled out his phone to check the time. [break][break] “I have about ten minutes.” Basile answered, slightly surprised that it was only a few minutes until rehearsal. With no competition now, Basile turned his attention to the basket, shooting the ball. It sunk in again, earning a chuckle as if he were some great player, and not just someone taking a free throw shot. He left the ball where it landed, turning his attention to Zac. [break][break] “You should always get your eight hours, Zac. Life is short- you should enjoy it, not work yourself ragged.” Basile coached. Zac hadn’t said he’d stayed up working, but Basile implied it was work all the same.
Zachary just grinned at Basile, "Yes well. I only talk to people at work..." He wasn't sure how to explain his reason for talking to Basile so he chose to keep his thoughts to himself. "I suppose it got easier when I was forced into it. For my job there is a purpose... Outside of it... Not so much." He answered, still missing the part of explaining why he was talking to Basile. The fact of the matter was that he liked talking to Basile but explaining his reasoning was becoming hard for him. "I'm not picky, I admit I love being the boss but I enjoy coming to the schools to find future employees." He answered, those questions were easy but Basile wasn't looking to work for him so why continue talking to him.
Liking him came to my mind as well as Basile mentioned earlier that he was a werewolf. Basile mentioned the amount of time he had before rehearsals. Zachary watched Basile throw the ball, making no effort in stopping him. Basile got it through the hoop and Zachary just smiled. "Nice shot." He answered, once more thinking about their conversation. Basile mentioned that he should get at least eight hours of sleep. Does he know I tend to stay up late working? "Your right... This old werewolf just doesn't know how to give it a rest." He grinned before adding, "I'm the only one in my family, so that is why I work harder in front of my father."

"Someday, when I have to give up acting, maybe I'll come ask you for a job." Basile stated lightheartedly. "I mean, if I haven't made a horrible impression on you." That was nervousness. He drew one hand to the back of his head, tangling his fingers in his hair just to give his hands something to do now that he didn't have the basketball. [break][break] "Thanks," Basile smiled at the compliment, pleased by the praise. But what came next- 'an old werewolf' that made him pause. Zachary was a werewolf too? That surprised Basile. Sure, he was definitely not human with the strength he'd dislayed, but could it be true that Basile'd ran into another werewolf? [break][break] "My father and I are werewolves, but the rest of my family aren't." Basile murmured, feeling like he could relate to Zachary's isolation in his family. Even with Octavian, Basile felt like he was the "only one" more often than he probably should have. [break][break] “Does it ever scare you? You know. Shifting... being a wolf... Getting so mad...” Basile asked sincerely. He was assuming that his aggression was related to being a werewolf, but he had nothing to base it on, other than his father's traits- he could have just got it from Tavi.
Zachary just smiled at Basile, "You don't have to give up acting to see me." He was trying to be funny, "All you need is a visitors pass and patients." Dear god, he was talking about patients when he didn't have any himself. "As much as I'd love for you to work for me, it sounds like you are stuck on becoming an actor. Though It will ve hard finding somebody else to take the spot I'd save just for you." It sounded nice that Basile might want to check out his company but he'd rather encourage the acting over Basile being stuck in a job he'd end up not favoring. Zachary was ready to admit he was a werewolf too, Basile's confession had given him courage to speak up about it.
Basile talked about being the only one besides his father to be a werewolf. Well at least they had werewolf as a common thing, he just hoped to find more. Basile asked him a question, it took a lot of effort to smile instead of frown. "Yes, I do. My parents and brother show no signs of shifting so I assumed it was just me till I found out from my father's line that I have werewolf gene passed down on his side of the family. It still scares them though." He sighed, "Stress, anger, one wron move and I risk hurting somebody else." He redirected the question back at Basile, "Does it ever scare you when you know you might shift?"

"There are no basketball courts or video games at your work, Zac. But maybe if you buy some~" Basile teased. Again, working the angle that Zach should let his employees have fun at work. Basile had decided he was not letting that one go. [break][break] "Um... My parents keep me safe. I usually run for one of them. Or, sometimes my brother can calm me down." Basile admitted. Sometimes there was nothing anyone could do to calm him down. He'd destroyed his and his brother's furniture more than once, and destroyed plenty of his brother's video games. With thoughts of Aggy now on his mind, Basile's mood grew serious. Sometimes he really was mean to his brother, wasn't he? But it occured to him that there could be something to make up for it- what if he introduced Zach to Aggy? [break][break] "Hey... wait... Maybe my brother can design for you! He designs video games, but I'm sure he could help you with presentations and things. He's really talented." Basile's eyes lit up, his attention back on Zach. "Will you come meet him? Please, Zac? He should be waiting for me- I'm going to be late. C'mon~" In other words, it wasn't a question. Basile grabbed Zach's hand again, pulling him through the hallways to the theater room where- predictibly- his brother was waiting for him. [break][break] "Aggy, Aggy! This is Zachary Blaine! He owns a business- what if you designed for him? This is perfect!" Basile's eyes were bright with excitement, tugging Zach again too get him to stand closer so that him and Aggy could talk. [break][break] "I'm going to be late..." Basile glanced at the door, then back at the two males. [break][break] || I'll stay in one more post, and then it's yours <3 ||
He's a game designer that comes off as a tsundere and often seen around a big crowd of people. Augustine dots over his brother and is rarely ever seen without his brother.
Augustine had decided to skip his club activities today. To say it was a shock would be a lie. he always skipped on days that Basile had a performance or rehearsed for a play. Sure he never went inside because he didn't want to make his beloved brother nervous. So he rather just sit outside and wait on him. Although Today he decided to grab his laptop and his designs for the game he had been working on for the last two weeks. It was nearly complete now and he was getting more and more excited by the day. Sure he lost a little sleep here and there and might have fallen asleep in a few of his classes but he didn't care so long as he made it before the deadline.
With everything going how it was he had no worries about that in the least! Saving what he had done for the day he put his laptop up as he headed over to the theater room. Waiting outside he didn't even need to look inside. He knew Basile wasn't there just yet. He was always running just on time. So he found himself yawning as he shook his head. Reaching up he ruffled his white hair. Hearing a familiar voice he found his face litening up with joy. although as soon as he seen that his brother had ahold of someone and was running with them his smile faded quickly and it was soon replaced with an annoyed expression. Now who did we have here? Was he going to have to deal with some baboons--
Did he say work for? Looking confused Augustine found himself smiling a bit. Was this really about him? Laughing a bit as he seen the way Basile's face lit up he couldn't help but to laugh to himself. "Yeah? He wants me to desgin a game? What kind does he want and whats the idea?" he found himself some what interested now. Crossing his arms over his chest he kept his eyes on the man for a few seconds before going back over to Basile. Not liking seeing his brother hold no one else hand other then his he grabbed his brothers hand, separating them from the mans only to pull him into a hug and grinned playfully. "Aren't you just the greatest thing ever?"
He found himself laughing playful only to give the man a glare when he distracted his younger brother with a hug. Letting him go he found himself smiling happily. "Well run off now, i don't want to hear you got in trouble okay? I'll be here listening like always! Knock em dead Bas~" He let out a soft coo as he playfully started to push Basile to the door only to kiss his cheek. Nothing weird about brotherly affection right. "Kehehe." he just snickered playfully at his brother. It wasn't like he'd kiss him like he normally does. Not in front of others anyways he'd save that for later at least. Placing his hands behind his back he decided he would play nice for now. But as soon as he left... Something about this story just didn't add up to him and he didnt like it one bit.
Zachary laughed, Basile was determined for him to get entertainment at his company, "I'll get right on it." An idea came to his mind, "Perhaps you can give me some suggestions?" It was his way of inviting Basile to join him. Basile talked about his family and he listened, next thing he knew he was following after Basile, forcing himself to remain calm. He enjoyed holding Basile's hand in his own. He saw Augustine, taking note of the smile disappearing but he ignored it. Basile called his brother Aggy, so until he got the full name he planned on doing so unless Aggy told him otherwise. Aggy smiled when work was brought up, it wasn't a bad idea but was that the real reason for meeting? He wasn't so sure that he agreed.
Aggy had come over, snatching Basile's hand away from him. He slipped his hand in his pocket, figuring sharing was caring until he noticed Aggy glaring at him. He looked at him with a blank expression, he wasn't about to let this kid get on his nerves. He found himself watching them before Aggy had pushed Basile towards the theater room. "Go on, I'll be here when you come out." Was that a promise? He knew Aggy would likely have a problem after glaring at him like that but could he hold him off until Basile came back out. "See you soon." That was convindence, he lifted his hand from his pocket to wave at Basile.
Zachary was now alone with Aggy. "It was his idea to bring up the work, it isn't a bad idea but I don't get credit for it." He stated as a matter of a fact. "Should I call you Aggy or do you have another name you'd prefer I call you?" He was fine with calling him Mr. Melikov if he wanted.

There it was. The way he was going to win Zach over. Basile nodded his agreement to the idea that he'd give sugguestions. This felt like a concrete step! [break][break] When they reached Aggy, Basile couldn't stop smiling. This was perfect! Or, he thought it was at least. Introducing Zach to Aggy seemed like the natural conclusion to the evening. [break][break] "Uh, no, Aggy... Zac can explain," Basile murmured. He wasn't expecting for his brother to pull him away. Glancing at Zach until he was pulled into a hug, Basile wrapped his arms around his brother. [break][break] "Thanks for being here," Basile thanked his brother sincerely- Aggy was always waiting for him, which couldn't have been much fun for his older brother. But Basile would have hated to stay late at school alone. Having Aggy there made him feel like at least someone noticed him and cared about his acting, and knew how badly he did not want to go home alone. It scared him, being completely alone at night. Bas probably could have called his parents to come get him like he had when he was young, but he was too old for that... wasn't he? He didn't need to find out, because Aggy was always there for him. [break][break] "Agggyy~" Basile protested, chuckling at the compliment, his cheeks turning red. He wouldn't have suspected the glare- his brother was too sweet for that, wasn't he? When Aggy let him go, Bas' attention went back to Zach: he'd be there when he was done? Before Bas could reply, he was being pushed to the door by his brother. [break][break] "Okay, okay. Bye~!" Basile waved to the pair, disappearing into the theater room. [break][break] || Your thread now <3 ||
